Editorial policy

Our publishing process is designed to keep useful planning guidance separate from unsupported certainty.

Research and review

We start with original government records, university garden guides and other first-hand horticultural sources. Before publication, facts and date rules are checked against the cited material. Pages that have not completed review are kept out of search results.

Use of AI tools

AI tools may assist with outlining, drafting, code and quality checks. They are not treated as factual sources. A claim is publishable only when it is supported by a reviewed source or clearly labeled as general planning guidance.

Corrections

Material errors should be corrected promptly. When a source changes, the affected calculation or guide is reviewed and its review date is updated. We do not silently preserve information known to be outdated.

Commercial independence

Advertising or future affiliate relationships do not determine our planting recommendations. Sponsored or affiliate content, if introduced, will be identified clearly.
