A Zone is not a frost date
A USDA Zone describes how cold winter usually gets. It does not tell you the last spring freeze, the current forecast, summer heat or one planting date for every garden in that Zone.
ZIP results are still estimates
ZIP-based tools cannot capture every slope, city heat island, elevation change or cold pocket. Compare any lookup with conditions in your own garden.
